GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS 

Stay informed and active in your Union by attending the General Membership meetings of Teamsters Local 162 which are held on the 1st Sunday of every month (except the summer months of July, August and September).  General Membership meetings start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and are held at Joe Edgar Hall located at 1850 NE 162nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon, 97230.

General Membership meetings are open only to active Local 162 members with your Union dues paid current.  Local 162 retirees are also welcome but are not permitted to make motions or vote. 

Reports of full-time Officers and Business Agents are an integral part of the General Membership meetings and are your way of staying informed of what is going on in your Union.  

OREGON TEAMSTER NEWSPAPER 

Read the Oregon Teamster newspaper for Teamster news and events in the Oregon, S.W. Washington and S.W. Idaho areas.  It is published by Joint Counil 37 in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November.  The Oregon Teamster has been published since 1946 and includes a column by Local 162 which contains reports from all full-time officers at the Local.
