Local 162 Hosts UPS Contract Rally and BBQ Celebration

On Sunday, August 7, 2022, Teamsters Local 162 hosted a 2023 UPS Contract Campaign Kick Off Rally and a BBQ to honor the 25th anniversary of the 1997 UPS Strike. Over 250 Teamsters gathered at Portland Teamsters Park to listen to speakers from the 1997 strike, enjoy a BBQ with their Teamster Brothers and Sisters, and to gear up for the 2023 negotiations.
Local 162 is proud to join the over 300,000 Teamsters in the Call to Action week that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters put into place. We look forward to more events to come. Go Teamsters!
