Negotiations between Teamsters Local 162 and Pepsi Portland took place on March 12, 13 and 14, 2024.

The negotiations have thus far been very productive and tentative agreements have been achieved on sick leave, vacations, paid breaks, shift differentials, work scheduling, excessive overtime protections, health care, warehouse/merchandiser wage progressions, and pension. Remaining to be resolved are wage increases.  The parties have gone back and forth on this important issue and when talks neared Midnight on March 14, 2024, the parties were still apart.

Local 162 leadership is in contact with Pepsi negotiators to resume negotiations on a date and time later this week to attempt to reach a full tentative agreement worthy of your Union negotiating committee’s endorsement.
