After following an over five-month bylaws amendment notification and member ratification process, the new and improved Local 162 Strike Fund benefit takes effect on February 1st, 2023. 

This new and improved Local 162 strike fund is established with a $5.00 per member per month dues assessment, which also takes effect beginning with your February dues. 

The details of the new and improved strike fund were previously mailed to all Local 162 members, and are also available for your review under the "News" area of the Local 162 website at www.teamsters162.com 

It is an exciting time to be a Teamster and your Union leadership has been hard at work negotiating strong contracts. A strong strike fund sends a powerful message to employers that when Teamsters go to the negotiating table we have the solidarity and resources to back us up.
