Re:        Bargaining Update

With your contract set to expire September 5, 2026, your Union negotiating committee met with Albertsons for a total of four bargaining sessions in the month of July. 

Unfortunately, Albertsons has not agreed to any Union proposals to improve our member’s wages, hours and working conditions.  Albertsons inability to reach agreements that reward our members for their dedication and hard work is unacceptable. 

Negotiations have been scheduled to resume on August 10, 2026.  Your Union will continue to bargain in good faith and represent our members to the fullest.  Albertsons needs to take your proposals seriously.

It is our intent to continue to bargain in good faith and achieve a recommended contract offer prior to expiration.  Your Union is willing to put in the effort and work to get that done.  Only time will tell if Albertsons is prepared to do the same.

Stay united and stay informed.  We ask that you prepare to attend all meetings called by the Union such as contract updates, strike votes and/or contract ratifications. 

Updates on the status of negotiations and important meetings will be posted on the Union bulletin boards in your workplace and also at teamsters162.com and teamsters305.com
